It is a mixture based on Portland cement, with filler, accelerator along with water repellent Application Before painting a surface, it is needed to assure that there is no algae growth or loose dust or oily substance. Otherwise it is needed to be cleared by using hard wire brush. In the next level, the surface is washed well with clean water and is left to dry partially. A paste of Avtar Cem Premium/ Duracem Plus is made using water and the first coat is applied with soft brush. When fully completed, the surface is cured with spraying / sprinkling of water after 6-8 hrs of first coat. The second coat is applied after 24 hrs of first coat. Wall suraksha smoothens out the rough surfaces by filling up the fine pores of mortar/ cement walls. It gives a protective coating to the walls, thereby protecting it from cracking. Benefits: The main benefits of Wall “Suraksha” putty is to prevent water seepage/leakage through cracks on the mortar-concrete. Wall Suraksha could be applied on both exterior and interior surfaces. It is not needed to apply any kind of primer on it before application of paint/distemper Any kind of paint or distemper can be applied on it. Curing is not needed after its application. The second coat is applied after 2-4 hrs. till the total thickness of putty on the wall is about 1½ mm. Ater recoating let the surface to dry completely. If any marks are visible, then it is needed to remove them with putty blade. For application of paint, the surface should be gently rubbed with very fine emery paper before painting.
