Valve seats and guards are machined from bar stock or forgings with all gas passages drilled or milled smooth to assure minimum friction of the gas flowing through the valve. After machining, metallic valve components are heat treated to attain optimum physical properties and maximum resistance to abrasion and wear. The seat area is ground flat and lapped on automatic machines for perfect sealing. Metallic valve rings, discs and plates are also fully machined. These components are heat treated, flattened, machined to close OD and ID tolerances, ground and lapped to the desired thickness and flatness. Sealing components for other types of valves including channels and leaf springs and strips are manufactured with equal precision and standard of quality. All components are de burred and their corners are rounded to prevent gouging of seat or guard or channels. Compression springs are available in round as well as rectangular cross-Section for optimum performance. Springs caps or buttons also, may be furnished in metallic or non-metallic materials. All our valve components are offered in a wide range of performance-proven materials to meet the specific need of the application. A full range of replacement components including Rings, Ported Discs, Springs, Spring Buttons, Guides, Dampening Discs, Lift Washers, Channels and Springs, Wear Stripes, Guide Holder, Strips are available in the wide range of materials for all types of valves for low pressureas well as high pressure application up to 400KG/CM2.

To meet the varied sealing and piston support requirements of Reciprocating Compressors, CVE Manufactures a wide variety of Piston and Rider Rings up to 42" diameter. These rings are offered in a broad range of materials to suit the specific requirements. CAST IRON : We manufacture piston rings from graded cast iron which provide good sealing over a wide temperature range in applications where adequate lubrication can be provided. All of our cast iron rings are heat tensioned. BRONZE : Our Bronze Piston Rings offer great wear resistance and are preferred for high temperature and pressures where lubrication may be marginal. The most commonly used Bronze Grade is 80:10:10 (CU-SN-PB) Chilled Casting. Various other grades are also available for different service conditions. CARBON FILLED TEFLON : Piston rings manufactured from Carbon filled Teflon offers good compressive and shear strength, hardness and wear resistance. They are particularly effective in non-lubricated services and have got excellent corrosion resistance.

We offer packing rings, oil wiper rings. Cve offers packing rings in diversified performance proven materials which are radial - tangent (r-t), double - tangent(t-t), and pressure breaker rings. We also offer oil wiper rings in a variety of materials including cast iron, bronze, babitt and carbon filled teflon.

We manufacture Radial- Tangent (R-T), Double Tangent (T-T), Pressure Breaker Rings which operate over a long period of time with little or no leakage and a minimum of friction. We also offer Oil wiper Rings in a variety of materials including Cast Iron, Bronze, Babitt and Carbon filled teflon. Generous drain slots across the face of the ring facilitate removal of lubricants wiped from the rod.

CVE offers pistons manufactured from graded cast Iron and various grades of Aluminum having close grain structure. We also offer pistons from forged blanks for high pressure application. CVE has also specialization in manufacturing Piston Rods from different grades of Alloy Carbon Steels as well as Stainless Steel in case of highly corrosive working conditions. The packing area of the piston rods is hard chromed or induction hardened or nitrided depending on your requirements. Piston rods up to 7 feet in length have been supplied by us.
