The Founder of Guruji Thandaiwala Late Jagdish Prasad Harital was versatile genius social activist and thus popular as Guruji amongst his fellow friends, well-wishers and business associates. Belonging to the famous Shekhawati area of Rajasthan he came to Kolkata to learn and earn at very tender age. Service never suited his attitude so he started inventing one by one unique products starting from body oil to food processing, fragrances to Ayurvedic medicines better to term as Churan just to explore the possibilities and finally succeeded to bottle Kesaria Thandai, a premium fruit and dry fruit mix drink popular during the festival of Colours. His invention became so popular that in a short span of time his product was anonymous with Kesaria Thandai. Still today kesaria Thandai is popular in the name of Guruji though many local and national players have entered into market but Guruji is maintaining flagship status due to its ingredients and taste.
In 1965 , Late Jagdish Prasad Haritwal dreamt about an organized syatem and laid the foundation of Guruji Thandaiwala. His dedicated work and foresight strengthened this foundation and his son Sri Sitaram Sharma became the pillar of this growing concern.
In 1992 the company enlisted as private Limited. With motivate ladour and able management at Guruji Thandaiwala Pvt. Ltd dream has come true. Guruji has become a household name in every family for delicacy of Kesaria Thandai, Sharbats, fruit syrups and squashes.
