Due to Global demographic changes of the societies, the requirements for hospital performances change. The average lifetime of individuals is increased and will continue to increase. The higher the demands on surgeon's performances are, the higher the demands on installations will rise. The most crucial parameters in the operating theatres are determined by the cleanliness of the theatre. Besides proper cleaning of people and instruments, the air in the theatre is a decisive factor. Surgeries can become the source of infections, recognized only later and therefore called post operative infections. This problem does not only endanger patients life and health, but also generate tremendous amounts of post operative costs for hospitals, societies and economies (such as extension of patients hospital stays, treatments, medication, multiple surgeries, invalidity, disinfections, lawsuits, pensions etc.). Himgiri can deliver this Standard laminar flow system into various sizes. The size of the laminar flow system depends on the requirements of the end-user. The standard Laminar Flow systems can be equipped with HEPA filter housings or with HEPA plate filters. Air supplied to this Standard Laminar flow system is air from outside, made up means of filtering, cooling, heating and humidifying to the required conditions. Modern operation theatres must fulfill standards of design and ventilation. The purpose of ventilation in the operating theatres is to minimize the risks to patients and wounds of contaminants from human and other un-sterile source. Air ventilation also removes any anesthesia gases that escape into air. Bacterial contamination of the air should be within acceptable limits. in the operation theatre the sources of infection may be either endogenous (from the patient himself) or exogenous from the theatre environment.

The single skin panel is fabricated from 1.2 mm / 1.6 mm galvanized steel sheet and is fixed to aluminum frame work using nuts and bolts from inside.
