HESSIAN also known as Hessian, a plain woven fabric of 5 to 12 ozs. a yard, made of good quality jute yarn. Hessian is used for a wide range of applications and is exported all over the world both in cloth form, and in the form of bags. Both cloth and bags are made in a wide variety of fabric constructions, frequently to conform to the buyer's specifications. Hessian Cloth Physical Properties of Hessian Strength -Hessian is exceptionally strong in proportion to construction, both in tensile strength and tear resistance.Resists Weathering -Hessian stands repeated wetting and drying with minimum loss of strength Hessian in Use Hessian has many applications. Its great strength and low cost make it the ideal textile for inner construction, for industrial packaging, and as the supporting fabric for many materials which lack the intrinsic functional strength required. Jute Hessian cloth is generally used for packing or wrapping materials for agricultural products such as wool, cotton and tobacco and also in the upholstery industry. Cloth is used for general packing of goods or commodities, such as cotton or wool. Bags are used to store and pack varieties of goods and commodities such as sand, pulses, grain, potato, onion, sugar and tobacco. The bags are tailored for packing goods up to 60 kgs of weight.
