Model LV36 Hydrostatic liquid level transducers and transmitters with flush diaphragm is designed for a wide variety of level measurement applications. This model pressure sensor and is protected by the stainless steel (SS) housing. Featuring the flush diaphragm makes the LV36 suitable to measure viscous media or media with small particles, so as to have diverse measurement applications.The standard reference pressure is gauge (or relative) pressure realized through a vent tube in the cable. The reference pressure can also be absolute pressure on request.The measuring range of LV36 transmitters spans from 0~1 to 0~200 meter water column (mH2O) withmeasuring accuracy of 0.5%fs (fs = full scale). The output signal of transmitters can be configured toeither current loop (4~20mA,standard), voltage output (0.5~4.5V, 1~5V), or digital output (I2C orSPI). The differential type level indicator cum controller is used for measurement of difference of two liquid levels. The level is detected by capacitance principle. The capacitance is formed between the active electrode (flexible Teflon taped wire) and the reference wire. As the liquid level rises(or falls) the capacitance between the active electrode and reference increases(or decreases) which is converted into equivalent signal. The output of two probe unit is fed to the controller unit to display the difference in level and operate alarm output at any desired differential level.

Short ultrasonic pulses in the range of 35 kHz to70 kHz are emitted by the transducer to the product surface, reflected there and received by the transducer. The pulses travel at the speed of sound - the elapsed time from emission to reception of the signals depends on the level in the vessel. The latest microcomputer technology and the proven processing software select the level echo from among any number of false echoes and calculate the exact distance to the product surface. An integrated temperature sensor detects the temperature in the vessel and compensates the infuence of temperature on the signal running time. By simply entering the vessel dimensions, a level-proportional signal is generated from the distance. It is not necessary to all the vessel for adjustment.

The process setup consists of supply water tank fitted with pump for water circulation. The level transmitter used for level sensing is fitted on transparent process tank. The process parameter (level) is controlled by microprocessor based digital indicating controller which manipulates pneumatic control valve through i/p converter.
