Natural Rubber is derived from latex liquid extracted from rubber plantations. It has excellent mechanical properties, low compression set and high resilience. It is very flexible and highly resistant to cut, tear and abrasion. It has an operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C and is available in hardness ranging from 30° to 80° Shore A.   They are resistant to water, most acids, alkalis and salts. However, they are not recommended for use in areas coming in contact with oils and hydrocarbons. They can be compounded to achieve superior abrasion resistance for use as anti-abrasion lining specially for mining applications.
