Orient Cut Wire Shot are made of cold drawn spring steel wire with a high content of carbon (C) and is obtained by cutting wire into lengths equal to the wire diameter, and then making it round if necessary through the conditioning (rounding) process. The quality is assured in cut-wire shot because the wire from which it has been produced is heat treated and cold drawn to achieve hardness and homogeneity. This, together with the balanced chemical properties and complete solidity of every piece, insure that cut-wire shot will not fracture, break or powder while in use. Our Stainless Steel Cut Wire Shots are made from type AISI 304316202430 Stainless Steel Wire having uniform hardness of 400 to 500 VPN or as per the requirement of our client’s needs. Our shot is certified to meet SAE J441, AMS 24313 and AMS 24314. Our shot is available in conditioned form (spherical) & As-Cut form (cylindrical). It is mainly used in Die-Casting units, which will give you extra white finish, and dust accumulation will be NIL. Life will be approx 8-10 times higher life than Steel ShotsGrits and 4-5 times higher life than Steel Cut Wire Shots. Our Stainless Steel Cut wire shots is being used in important applications where ferrous contamination in blasting stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, or other non ferrous work objects could be harmful. We have a unique abrasive for you known as ‘ORIMIX’ i.e combining the feature of Steel Cut Wire Shots and Steel Shots. This abrasive works best for shot blasting where, only Steel Cut Wire Shots does not work during operation and causes dent and where, only Steel Shots gets powdered soon, giving a blackish finish and unsatisfactory results. It works best for C.I. Castings & Forgings Unit.By using this abrasive during shot blastingpeening operation you will notice that after few uses where Steel Shots had become powdered, Steel Cut Wire Shots becomes fully rounded, thus giving you a uniform & bright surface and prevents being dust. This type of abrasive prevents denting which can be caused due to the cylindrical shape of Steel Cut Wire Shots and will provide a longer life than Steel Shots and surface finishing will be cleaned uniformly.
