It is available as Tempra Syrup 120 mg/5 ml and Tempra Forte Syrup 250 mg/5 ml. The recommended doses for the former are 10-20ml (2 to 4 teaspoonful) for children of 6-12 years; 10ml (1 to 2 teaspoonful) for 1-5 year olds and 2.5 -5ml (half to 1 teaspoonful) for infants of 3 months to 1 year old (half to 1 teaspoonful). The doses have to be given 3-4 times a day or as directed by the doctor. The recommended doses for the Tempra Forte Syrup are 10-15mL(2 to 3 teaspoonful) for children of 13 and above years; 5-10mL(1 to 2 teaspoonful) for 6-12 year olds and 2.5-5mL(half to 1 teaspoonful) for 1-5 year olds.
