Rohini FP may be stored in tanks constructed of mild steel, high density cross linked polyethylene, or reinforced fiberglass polyester (isophthalic polyester resin) with vinyl ester resin internal layer coating (50 – 100 mils). Mild steel piping and brass valves can be used.Stainless steel storage tanks and piping should not be used with Rohini FP. Failure to follow recommended maintenance procedures may result in the deterioration of foam concentrate quality and its fire fighting effectiveness.
