With expertise that extends to both pre- and post-tensioning products, Usha Martin’s prestressing operations cover a multitude of specialised industry applications. Used extensively by major construction companies in India, the post-tensioning products such as anchorage, sheathing, multi-pull and single-pull hydraulic jacks and pumps, grout pumps and agitators are manufactured at Usha Ismal Division at Ranchi. Pre-tensioning products include grips, wire jacks, hand pumps and power-operated pumps.

Mainly used for various types of automotive applications, bright bars from Usha Martin feature an array of best-in-class properties. Bright Bars are processed through various types of forming operations such as machining, punching, slotting, cutting, drilling, knurling and are available in a wide range of sizes and grades.

The steel making route is Blast Furnace, Sponge Iron, Electric Arc Furnace, Ladle Refining Furnace, Vacuum Degassing, and Continuous Casting Machines supported by in-house ore beneficiation, Sinter, Coke-oven, Pellet, DRI, Power Plant, and Lime kilns. The state of the art Continuous Casting Machines produce billets & blooms in sizes 300 x 360 mm, 200 x 240 mm, 200 x 200 mm, 150 x 150 mm, and 130 x 130 mm. The Straight Length rolling facilities include two bar rolling mills where the rolled products in the size range of 25 mm to 180 mm diameter and Round Cornered Square (RCS) in the size range of 63 mm to 200 mm are produced.
