Vikrant manufacturers core assembly platform for assembly of 35 limbed core for distribution & power transformers with bottom and top yoke. Centre distance and length of the limbs are adjustable as per customers requirement. The assembly can be done without the top yoke also as per user's practice. The core table is made vertical by means of 24 hydraulic cylinders on capacity of the platform.

Vikrant manufacturers Coil Upender for tilting positioning of coil from horizontal to vertical and vice versa in both hydraulic and electromechanical versions. Max dimensions of coil handled are 3 mtr dia x 3 mtr length and 15 Tons weight.

Tig tungsten inert gas (argon) welding process is most suitable for welding of armature coil & equalizer coil leads with commutator riser of motors as this type of welded connections are able to withstand considerable thermal & mechanical loads.

The machine is meant for undercutting of mica groove of commutators in manufacture & repair shops of small, medium, heavy motor & generator armatures. The armature is supported either on two adjustable type roller supports or held between two revolving centers which are mounted on common fabricated bed accurately machined.

These machines apply fiberglass tapewire under high tension, to the wire winding turns outside of the lamination stack of armatures to prevent "flare out" of these end turns due to centrifugal force at high rpm’s.

Vikrant manufacturers up stroking hydraulic coil press upto 100 ton capacity for pressing of large power transformer coils with motorized trolleys for loading and unloading of the coils. The press has an adjustable top platen to accommodate different lengths of coils. No of hydraulic cylinders vary from 4-6 depending on the size of the coil. Max size of coil handled is 3 mtr length.

The Pressboard after scarfing beveling operation is joined by glue under heat in a special type hydraulic up - stroking press.

End supports for large power transformer coils are made by joining individual strips of max 4-metre length x 600 mm wide by applying glue under pressure and heat and then wound to the required length on a motorised decoiler.

Machine is suitable for milling inner and outer diameter on laminated wood of various thicknesses ranging from 10 - 60 mm. The machine consists of a vertical turntable on wheels with a large diameter faceplate with multiple ‘t’ slots for clamping of the laminated board.

The machine comprises of two large shaped plates with slots at regular intervals resting on a fabricated base frame. Two shafts with four nylon wheels of adequate dia are placed in the slots of the plate according to the diameter of the cylinder.

The machine is used for making of coil loops from one or multiple insulated copper conductors under tension as per specified dimensions for manufacture of coils for large motor and generators.

Commutators of traction motors are rotated at 3000 rpm and heated to a temperature of 220 degree celsius for a period of 40 hours in 4 cycles or as specified to simulate the actual operating condition of such motors. After every cycle the commutator is pressed before subjecting it to the next spinning cycle.
