It is not needed to apply any kind of primer on it before application of paint/distemper Any kind of paint or distemper can be applied on it. Curing is not needed after its application. It is antifungal as well as odorless. It has good adherence and is water resistant and hence can be applied on wet surface. It is in dry powder form and gives a glossy smooth finish. Wall Suraksha can even be applied to used surfaces after proper preparation. It protects the wall from flaking . Application At first, using brush or emery paper the adhering materials should be cleared from the surface. The surface then needs to be moistened up. A paste of Wall “Suraksha” putty with water is applied on the moistened surface in upward direction uniformly with putty blade. On drying the projected marks are gently removed by using putty blade. The second coat is applied after 2-4 hrs. till the total thickness of putty on the wall is about 1½ mm. Ater recoating let the surface to dry completely. If any marks are visible, then it is needed to remove them with putty blade. For application of paint, the surface should be gently rubbed with very fine emery paper before painting.
