In our line of processing packaging is our last stage. We are now using 4 nos. hoppers with vibrator to fill different density pepper which is falling to the carton forming uniform density in each carton. The hopper is fixed on stand. The hopper height is about 8.6̢۪. We are now filling by hands, the hopper by climbing on a ladder. This affects the quality of the pepper. Bucket elevator can be used to fill the hopper untouched by hands which also prevents bacteria count. We hope this up-gradation in the process will enhance the quality of the final product and can enable us to capture more export market especially in European Countries.
