Calcium Bentonite
Calcium bentonite is a clay mineral predominantly consisting of mineral Montmorillonite mixed with some related minerals like Nontronite and Beidellite. These are three layered Aluminosilicate with molecules of water between layers. the sodium variety has high swelling and gelling properties alongwith good viscosity and liquid limit. The bentonite found in the Kutch region of India is of igneous origin. It was formed millions of years ago, possibly from the volcanic ash falling in stagnant saline water in semi-arid conditions. Due to the natural characteristics of these particular volcanic ashes, the chemical composition of this bentonite is somewhat different from the bentonite available in the rest of the world. Most of these deposits are of natural sodium bentonite with higher iron content which gives them their darker colour. Due to very fine particle size, this bentonite shows extra-ordinary swelling capacity and bonding powers. These differences mean that the Kutch bentonite finds the most number of uses in various industries throughout the world.

Bauxite is a raw material consisting mainly of alumina-bearing hydroxides; oxides of iron, silicon and titanium with impurities of Ca, Mg, Cr, V, P, Ga and other elements. Basic alumina containing rockforming minerals of bauxites are gibbsite Al(OH)3, boehmite g-AlO(OH) and diaspore a-AlO(OH). Besides, bauxites contain minerals of iron: hematite a-Fe2O3, goethite a-FeO(OH); silica as quartz a-SiO2 and kaolinite Al2[Si2O5](OH)4; titanium dioxide as anatase and rutile. In smaller quantities bauxites contain calcium and magnesium carbonates, sulfur, impurities of organic substances, etc. The quality of bauxites for alumina production is estimated basically by the contents of Al2O3 and SiO2, and also by the mineral form of aluminium oxide.

Crude Palm Oil normally is having around 30 - 50 PPM phosphorus. After the oil is acid conditioned with phosphoric Acid 95 % at suitable temperature (60-80 C) and water hydrated, as required is centrifuged, its phosphates are lowered and is subsequently bleached. It is highly recommended to further condition the degummed oil with citric acid as 20 % solution (100 gms - 500 gms per ton) and subsequently bleached with 0.8 - 3.0 %. Clean HI, Activated bleaching earth at around 100 C and at 35 --45 tore vacuum for 30 minutes at filtered. The bleached oil is thus now ready for physical deacidification cum deodorization preferable at 270 C temperature with minimum 30 - 90 minutes residence stripping time with 0.5 - 1.5 % sparse stream. The resultant final product oil is of desired quality. The dosage of earth may be lowered even below 0.8 %, if the deodorization temperature is easily maintained around 270 C, with higher degree of earth, it will positively contribute for lighter color fully acid distillates and lowest possible RBD Palm oil Color. Clean HI, is manufactured with utmost care and research of development has contributed is to maintain its consistent quality, lower oil retention, fast filtration, press bleach effects etc. Bleaching Clay :- Our international standard bleaching earth is equivalent to imported Tonsil.
