Our surface-coated spherical AIN powders offer excellent compability between the AlN particles and resins. We also offer water resistant grades in our spherical AlN powder lineup. The new 130um spherical AlN powder grade has the largest particle size in our product lineup. Without water-resistance treatment RF series is high purity spherical AlN powder grade that is not surface coated or treated for water resistance. RF series is recommended when purest spherical AlN powder is required. RFE series is spherical AlN grade that is surface coated to improve bonding and compatibility with epoxy resins. RFS series is spherical AlN grade that is surface coated to improve bonding and compatibility with silicone resins. These are one hundred percent solid paints. Each particles of the powder is a homogeneous mixture of pigments, resins, curing agent and activators. When applied by suitable technique and cured at elevated temperatures, the powder melts and forms a continuous impervious film.
