The K.L. Talwar group started it operations in the year 1911 and is one of the pioneers into the Hing trade –and we have been “adding flavor to everyday cooking” since our 101 years of operation. With 4th generation of the family into this business, Hing is being processed by the methods which optimally utilize both the modern technology as well as the natural elements available to the mankind.

Our asafoetida – branded as “Saraswati” is derived from the best species of giant fennel. This potent spice mellows out to a delicious mix, similar to that of onion and garlic. This characteristic aroma and taste is the main character of numerous Indian curries, Snacks/Namkeens and Pickles (particularly of the South-Indian and Punjabi cuisine).
Our asafoetida as a key ingredient works as an effective digestive aid and finds extensive applications in the field of Ayurveda and Pharmaceuticals due to its medicinal properties of working as anti-flatulent.
