Momentive EPC is a water-based Boron Nitride coating with small inorganic binders. This suspension is primarily used in Aluminum Castings and metallizing plants, where it serves as a brushed-on release agent to control the deposition of metal and allow metallic deposits to be easily removed from components. Despite the minimal use of binders, BN EPC Grade has sufficiently high adhesive properties to maintain coating integrity during the metalising process. EPC Grade Boron Nitride Coatings are temperature resistant up to around 850 C in air and to around 2,000 C in an inert atmosphere. The coating has good thermal conductivity and is electrically insulating. Boron Nitride Water Based Coatings Available in one and five gallon containers. Apply by brush, roller, dipping or spraying using various commercially available methods. Dilution (2:1 water to concentrate) is recommended to enhance application (GPC, LPC). EPC is formulated to be ready-to-use (Dilution not recommended). FPC is a ready-to-use dispersion of BN and alumina. Dried coatings can be readily handled, smoothed or polished with a soft, dry cloth. Forced drying at 80°C for 20 minutes is recommended for each layer. Product Description   RUST-X VCI Neutracoat Xtreme is a latex based primer, which can be applied with a brush or spray on the parts to be protected. The compound first converts the corrosion and then leaves a latex based layer on the surface which has a high salt spray life. The total action time is approx. 1-3 hours depending on the environmental conditions in which it is applied. It is highly active against corrosion conversion for the most damaged products that are hard to shot blast, sand blast or phosphate and works in extreme environmental conditions and provides long-term corrosion protection to the parts on which it is applied. The liquid is transparent or can be of any chosen colour upon application. The VCI Neutracoat Xtreme remains liquid even after years of application. This therefore does not cause any dimensional changes on the part. The VCINeutracoat Xtreme is compatible with Engine, Hydraulic and Transmission fluids and does not cause any detrimental effect on the same. VCI Neutracoat Extreme converts the metal surface layer in a chelating layer that converts the surface into hydrophobic passive layer. This is later than converted into a solid film due to the presence of water based latex polymers that works like a primer and prevents further corrosion. If very high salt spray life is required, then the layer can be plated or applied with thicker paints either water or solvent based. Clean the area to be protected using a cloth or RUST-X 40 spray Apply the RUST-XNeutracoat Xtreme with a brush on the area to be protected Ensure that all the area gets covered evenly with the compound Check the reaction with the metal used before commercial application   Application and Handling    This can be used to protect structures, chemical plants and equipments that are intended for outdoor storage or are located in open areas and need protection. These can also be used to protection unpacked refinery equipment oil pipleline equipment and valves, off shore refinery parts which are not painted or coated and require protection or during the storage while commissioning, for lay-up during shut downs and also on heat exchangers, wind mills and automotives. Due to a higher drop point the VCI Neutracoat Xtreme it can be used on the chemical plant and equipment, which is in operation at elevated temperatures.
