Today, you see more technicians using vacuum cups to set a windshield than yousaw just a few years ago. The most common thing you hear about vacuum cups amongsttechnicians is that they do not trust them. Well, you can trust these. The Equalizer® WindshieldSetting Cups are big: at 7” in diameter and each vacuum cup is rated at90 pounds of lifting capacity. The handles are made of cast aluminum and areattached to the cup by high tensile strength bolts. All of that is great, butmost important of all is the highly visible pump vacuum ring. As you pump theplunger to create the vacuum seal the red line disappears and, it warns you thatit is loosing pressure when it reappears. Unlike many vacuums these are madefor curved glass - yes there is a difference between a flat glass vacuum anda curved glass vacuum.

Here is a quick, safe and easy way to cut the end off of the nozzle of a urethane tube. Put the nozzle in the cutter to the desired depth, squeeze the blade into the tool and the nozzle is cut. The other end of the nozzle cutter uses the V-shaped blade to remove the front end seal from silicone tubes. Made in Germany.

When you use high-viscosity urethane, you need a caulking gun that makes dispensing the urethane easier. Here is what a 26 to 1 caulking gun does: if you squeeze the handle with 1 pound of pressure it puts 26 pounds of pushing pressure on the urethane. With that kind of power you can easily dispense high-viscosity urethane even in cold weather. Our caulking gun has a revolving barrel, zinc alloy handle, and a thumb release.
