Oil made by crushing Sesame seed in Steel rotary is called Cold Pressed oil. Steel rotary has both the cylinder and screw made of steel.  When the seeds are crushed between the cylinder and the screw made of steel, frictional heat is generated and this could be around 40 to 50 Degree Centigrade. This heat thus generated is not high enough to cause damage to the oil. The oil retains most of the nutrients from the seed. We use high graded sesame seeds that are cleaned, sorted and sieved. The seeds are selected so that Free Fatty Acid is below 2%(FFA < 2%).  The cleaned  seed  is  then   crushed  with Jaggery  or  palm Jaggery  and   little  water   to   make the seed suitable for grinding. No  other  substance  that includes  chemical  additives or  artificial agents,  synthetic  fragnance are  added.
