Pantoprazole tablets, Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor drug used for short-term treatment of erosion and ulceration of the oesophagus caused by gastreesophageal reflux disease. It acts by selectively inhibiting the H+K+-ATPase enzyme in the secretory canaliculus of the stimulated parietal cell. Pantoprazole is contraindicated in heptic impairment; hypersensitivity.
