Tomahawk
Tomahawk is a light axe formerly used as a tool or weapon by certain Native Americans. The term is a derivation of the Algonquian words "tamahak" or "tamahakan", definitions applied to stone-headed implements used as tools and weapons involving all manners of striking weapons; wood clubs, stone-headed axes. With the exception of a relative few made by Indian blacksmiths, tomahawks were manufactured on a large scale in Europe or created by individual makers in America. Some tomahawks were created elaborately with fancy engravings and pewter or silver inlaid blades and handles. The styles or adornments varied depending on the material available and the customs of the region. Hafts were polished smooth, carved, scalloped, inlaid, wrapped with copper or brass wire, covered with rawhide, leather or cloth, painted and hung with every type of imaginable ornaments. The variety of metals used for creating tomahawks were solid iron, iron with a welded steel bit, brass with steel bit and solid brass. Most tomahawks measured less than 18 inches (45 centimeters) long and were light enough to be used with one hand. The warriors used their tomahawks as clubs or threw them at their enemies and these also served as hunting weapons.
...morescottish dirks
The scottish Dirks were carved by hand and mounted on custom made blades. They represent a range of dirk styles from the earliest examples of what may be identified as a truely Scottish style dirk circa 1650, on the left. Then a piece from the mid 18th century, that illustrates the last period with a functional dagger that is starting to show the design elements that will be the hallmarks of the dress daggers worn since the end of the 1700's. The dirk on the right shows the height of form and function, when the dirk was a working tool as well as showing the full development of the carved hilt circa 1700. These have all been sold. Scottish Dirks are one of the most distinctive varieties of knives. Owing to its present form, the Scottish dirk is a massive piece of male jewelry, mounted in gold or silver, capped with semi-precious stones and worn with the kilt as part of formal evening dress. The first true dirks appeared in the early 1600's, evolving from the medieval ballock dagger that was a stabbing weapon, designed to pierce armor, with a heavy, sharply-pointed blade. It retained the ballocks between the handle and blade but developed a wide, flaring pommel capped by a circular brass disk. By the beginning of 1800, the dirks underwent transformation. The blade of the dirk then, retained its traditional size and shape, but the hilt began to assume impractical forms. Some looked like three balls stacked one upon the other and others took an extreme thistle shape having a small handle. Pommels remained large and became highly decorated with engraving and/or three dimensional castings. Being unique in western culture, the dirk is still made and worn, along with the sgian dubh, or stocking knife. Although it comes in an infinite variety, it has always been instantly recognizable as a Scottish Dirk.

For display or for battle, each reproduction is created to the specifications of the original. The dimensions and weight are accurate on every piece so you get a medieval weapon that is actually balanced and fun to hold instead of just pretty to look at.One of the greatest millitary powers in the world, the Roman empire laid its foundations on honor, courage and duty. It became the most feared military regime using superior weapons and tactics. The sword was a mainstay of the Roman military throughout its history. In the Republican period, the dominant style of sword was the gladius Hispaniensis. This style of sword was adopted by the Romans after they encountered it in Spain. The "classic Roman sword" means that the blade was between 25 and 30 inches long, the guard was very narrow, and the hilt was topped with a rounded ball. One of the few variations on the "classic Roman sword" that existed was the use of an eagle head instead of a weighted ball on some pommels. The Roman sword went through many changes, which were reflected in the manner in which the swords was employed. The Gladius of Caesar's time had a slight curve in the edge of the blade. The sword was intended as a thrusting weapon and the best way to use it was in a tight formation. The Gladius has evolved into a cut-and-thrust sword, with a long point and a slightly "waisted" blade and is the most elegant of all Roman swords.
...morePolearms
Polearms are, along with Spears, the largest weapons in the game with the most reach. In Diablo II Polearms are unpopular due to their relatively low damage and slow swing speed. They aren't even that good for Barbarians to use with Whirlwind, as they have much lower damage then the top blunts or spears. They are improved somewhat at higher levels in the Expansion, however.Polearms have been used for centuries as weapons of destruction, though their roots stem from humble farming tools. Derived from the spear, the axe, the scythe, and the hammer, polearms are any combinations of those, and come in all shapes and sizes, from the rudimentary war-scythes to the devastating bardiches and glaives. The polearm can easily strike beyond the range of even the largest swords and axes. Wielding such a weapon requires great strength, skill, and the use of both hands. The Barbarian is the expert in polearms, and his masteries skills tree includes a Polearm Mastery skill.
...moreMedieval Daggers
Historical Daggers from the early Roman times to the Renaissance and Medieval times. Medieval dagger (from Vulgar Latin: 'daca' - a Dacian knife) is a blade weapon (essentially a double-edged knife) used for stabbing, thrusting or as a secondary defense weapon in close combat.Much like battle axes, daggers evolved out of prehistoric tools. They were initially made of flint, ivory or even bone and were used as a weapon since the earliest periods of human civilization. The medieval daggers stand testimony to the Middle Ages when encounters with any stranger often led to bloodshed. The robust medieval daggers often have a wide blade to take a proper edge for general cutting as well as retaining the true dagger form. The clean and simple lines of the ornate daggers emphasize its strength and efficiency. The crafted designs of the dagger speak of the elegant styles involved to create classic lines in the blade forged to a sword point. The blade can be single or double edged with striking imprinted artwork. Providing sure fighting grip, the daggers may have various finishes of antique brass, stainless steel, pewter or nickel to offer the rustic look. Capturing danger and excitement, the dagger is generally used to fend off blows in close combat situations. The usage can also be for both for self-defense and for utilitarian purposes, both civil and military.

The ancient sword had generally a straight two-edged blade rather broad, and nearly of equal width from hilt to point. The Romans wore them on the left side, so as to draw them out of the sheath by passing the right hand in front of the body to take hold of the hilt with the thumb next to the blade. The two main sword weapons of Imperial Rome were the 'Spatha' and the most well known the 'Gladius'. The Gladius was a shorter sword with a wide blade, double edged with a sharp, strong point, and was used as a stabbing weapon. This was the standard infantory weapon of the Roman Legions.

They are available with etched designs meant to make the wearer stand out in a flush of pomp and fashion.
