We have developed a new automobile CVT Gearbox technology for which we have taken an Indian Patent(No.294056).In this Gearbox the gear ratios start from zero and are infinite in number and they can be changed in sealmess manner either manually or automatically.This has no belts or fluid couplings inside and hence can handle higher torque.It does not require a clutch to operate.There is a 'Hill holder' inherent inside.Since the concept is very simple, size and weight are comparatively very less and hence this is cheaper to manufacture and easy to maintain.Pricie will be 50% of existing CVTs available in the market.

Technical Details of the Concept of the Gearbox in brief :The Gear Ratios in this Gearbox are infinite number and can be changed continuously as in a CVT either manually or automatically. In a normal mechanical brake a rotating member is brought into physical contact with a stationary member and because of the friction between these two, the rotating member slows down and finally stops. But in this Brake system the rotating member is not brought into contact with a stationary member. Instead when brake is applied it causes some geometrical configurational changes happens on the rotating member which induces some reactive forces on the rotating brake disc because of which it slows down and finally stops.
