At that time, I was around 5 to 6 years old. I lived in a place where locomotives travel around. And I was always running out to watch them and loved to sketch them. This was my old memory of childhood. I try to recall those memories and translate them into the canvas. That is how the series “NOSTALGIA OF INDIAN STEAM LOCOMOTIVES PAINTINGS ” comes up… Presently there is no Steam Locomotive around us. You might be seen in the museum or other places as an antic. My idea is to present those locomotives to the old and new generations through this painting. I tried to capture the aesthetic beauty of female figure. I tried to express their emotions, attitude and expression. I follow their face, body language. Which is the content of my paintings. For me Beauty is the original, pure, natural, and unique. Beauty is always fresh and new. And Freedom is always open and free to do whatever you want to do. My using of colour is always freedom, there is no colour limit. Using of many vibrant colours the series looks different.
