Nylon (chemically called Polyamide) yarn has very high resilience and extremely attractive dye absorbing capability. It is treated for Static propensity during the ‘chip’ manufacturing stage and thus forms as the perfect material to use for producing carpets with highly attractive designs based on varying colours. The Colour combinations possible in Nylon yarn are secondary to none. These yarns also have very low soil and stain affinity and thus are used for carpets to be used in very high traffic applications. There are however technologies available which enable us to produce white nylon yarn and these can be later “post dyed” to produce carpets with very intricate patterns and designs.
