Clams are bivalve molluscs that are native to both, seawater and freshwater. They have a taste similar to that of mussels but are slightly sweetish in flavour. In Kerala Clams are widely consumed in the curry form and prepared with green coconut masala and eaten with rice. Consumption of Clam is associated with many health benefits. Nutrition:Clams are high in protein, zinc and vitamin B12 and Riboflavin content. Note:Product is weighed before cleaning and cutting.
