AIL Forged Steel Y-pat tern Globe and Check Valves have established themselves in the industry for their rugged and compact design, and reliable service. These valves are of fered in Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel. They are available in a range of sizes starting from 14” to 2” (in reduced-bore design) and from 38” to 112” (in full-bore design). The rugged construction ensures an ideal body and bonnet, suited to handle high pressure and temperatures - up to 4250C in carbon steel and 5400C in alloy steel. The Y-pattern design ensures a near-perfect straight flow which significantly reduces pressure drop and turbulence when compared to conventional designs. As a standard, valves are supplied with screwed bodybonnet joint, which ensures ease of inspection and in-line maintenance, thus minimising downtime. AIL Y-pattern valves can be of fered to NACE MR-0175 and other special NACE requirements. They can also be supplied with IBR certification.

By virtue of their Y-type configuration, AIL Globe Valves have a relatively straight flow and a lower pressure drop compared to conventional globe valves. The valves are suitable for tight shutoff and throttling in high pressure and high temperature lines. The AIL Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve is the preferred choice of ball valve in higher sizes and pressure ratings, and in critical process applications requiring special capabilities. In this design, sealing takes place by allowing the seat to move towards the ball along the flow axis, which leads to lower operating torques over other types of valves. The valves have advanced design features such as a built-in cavity relief mechanism, compact internal trunnion holder, and intrinsic double block and bleed facility. The valves are of two-piece design, bolted at the body connection joint and with flanged or butt weld ends, and are available in both reduced bore and full bore designs.

The API 603 family of AIL Stainless Steel Gate Valves is an economic alternative to API 600 Stainless Steel Gate Valves. They are available in flanged construction and in pressure ratings of ASME Class 150 and Class 300. Gate Valves are of flexible outside screw-andyoke and bolted-bonnet construction. Body and Bonnet The body and bonnet are cast with uniform section and generous radius fillets to prevent stress concentration. The castings are precision-machined for high performance Flexible Wedge. The gate valve body has a straight through port without recesses except at the seat area. This ensures minimum turbulence, erosion and resistance to flow. Long integral guide ribs in the body match with full-length guide slots in the wedge fo accurate alignment and guidance.

AF51 & 52 - Fire Safe Series These single-piece Ball Valves are high performance valves which come with a one-piece integrally flanged body, in sizes of up to 200mm. AF44 - Fire Safe Series This 3-piece fire-safe design Ball Valve features a secondary metal seat which renders the valve firesafe. When the seat is totally sublimated in a fire, the ball moves and rests against the lip, forming a metalto-metal seat, thus ensuring leak-tightness.

A44 - Standard Series This 3-piece Ball Valve is the most easily on-line maintainable in its class. By removing three body connector bolts and loosening the fourth, the body can be swung away using the fourth bolt as the fulcrum, to carry out any installation or maintenance operation on the valve, thus reducing downtime. The AIL Series 5HP-44 Ball Valve has been specially developed to meet the industry�s requirement of a safe and reliable shut-off valve for high-pressure applications. This valve incorporates a number of product features like high-pressure seals, thicker flanges on the body connectors, high-tensile bolting, special acetal resin seats, high-strength stem and high-pressure integrity gland assembly.

The ASME B16.34 family of AIL Gate, Y-Globe and Swing Check Valves features a pressure seal bonnet design for high pressure services. These valves are extensively used in high pressure and high temperature steam, oil, gas, chemical and water applications in thermal power plants, fertiliser plants, petrochemical plants and refineries. The valves are available with butt-weld ends in pressure ratings of Classes 900, 1500 and 2500, and come in carbon steel and alloy steel construction.
