Through processes such as close tolerance slitting, cuffing, die cutting, heat forming, punching, etc., the electrical insulation material is converted to insulation components like Wedges, Slot Cover, Phase Separators, and Slot Liner as per the specification of the customer. These components are packed in individual bags referred to as "Insulation Kits".

Material - Aluminum alloy Features - Pre- Insulated Sleeve are designed for jointing insulated cables (include ABC cables).  The sleeve is with full tension. The waterproof end cap can prevent water into the barrel.  It is coloured differently to distinguish the cable sizes. It is marked with type, cable size, die size, inner cable length and number of crimping.

Heat-shrinkable wraparound sleeves are a fast, versatile and permanent method of repair for damaged cable outer sheaths. Upon application of heat, the sleeve shrinks and adhesive melts and bonds to the cable sheath, creating a permanent seal against moisture entry into the cable. Wraparound sleeves are useful for repairs to cable outer sheath where it is not possible to use tubular sleeves.

Raychem elastomeric insulating boots are moulded parts, which fit over the connection between the cable lug and the inline or right angled equipment bushing to improve phase-to-phase and phase to- ground insulation. They are used in switchgear and transformer cable boxes where the air clearances are insufficient for normal operation, or to protect against flashover due to rodents or high humidity. R-CAB, SILCAB and E-CAB are different bushing boots available for maximum system voltage levels upto 24 kV. Raychem's SILCAB-T is designed to be "re-usable terminal protector" with facilities for on line testing.
