These Barrels are designed for bulk or large volume plating, typically for hardware or such articles. These units are designed for quick and efficient handling of materials. These Barrels comprise of a M.S. Tank lined with suitable lining material and fitted with Polypropylene perforated Barrel, bearings, side panels and gear rings. All these remain inside the Barrel. The Barrel can be raised out of the Tank by a hand operated pinion sector mechanism. The plated parts are emptied out conveniently through a Funnel into a Bucket placed on a side rest. The Barrel is counter balanced to minimize the lifting effort. Cathode contacts are of flexible type, designed to give effective current distribution and to be easily removable for stripping.

These types of Barrels are used for plating small parts where standard Barrels are not possible, and Tanks are also not practical. The Barrel is Octagonal in shape and of M.S. lined internally with rubber. It is rotatable and is fitted with a Geared Motor of A.C. Supply. These can be used for Copper, Brass, Cadmium, Zinc, Tin, Silver & Nickel Plating.  

Multi Barrel Systems are an inexpensive as well as efficient option for those who do not need complete automation. These Units have an advantage of single chemical Tank with Multiple Barrels. Thereby saving on the need for individual Filters and other similar equipment. The Barrels can be lifted and lowered by a simple electric Hoist. This Hoist arrangement also moves forward backward as required into the position for handling each Barrel.
