All these remain inside the Barrel. The Barrel can be raised out of the Tank by a hand operated pinion sector mechanism. The plated parts are emptied out conveniently through a Funnel into a Bucket placed on a side rest. The Barrel is counter balanced to minimize the lifting effort. Cathode contacts are of flexible type, designed to give effective current distribution and to be easily removable for stripping.
