The Vertical Plate Filter (VF) is a pressure filter and consists of a vertical tank with vertically positioned filter plates. VF filter plates filter on both sides, offering a large filtration area in a relative small vessel. The VF filter can be used for a variety of applications. VF filters are suitable for wet or dry cake discharge. Wet cake discharge filter models are cleaned by built-in spray pipes. The slurry is discharged through a large bottom drain. In Dry Cake Discharge filter models, the filter is equipped with a pneumatic vibrator. The cake is discharged either through a hydraulic operated quick opening tank bottom or a butterfly valve. The filter cake can be dried by compressed air, inert gas or steam before the cake is discharged by the vibrator. Vertical Plate Filters can be utilized for manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic operation. EDIBLE OIL FILTRATIONS An ideal filter for crude oil, micelle as well as bleaching earth filtrations with dry cake discharge. Also suitable for nickel recovery CATALYST RECOVERY For the recovery of smaller and larger amounts of catalyst. Removal of catalyst as dry cake or slurry. Popular in hydrogen peroxide, hydro­genation processes ACTIVATED CARBON REMOVAL For the clarification of liquids after decolonization, purification or deodorization processes. CHEMICAL FILTRATION Vertical Plate Filters are used in a variety of chemical processes, like amines used in gas scrubbing, detergents, liquid polymers, fertilizers, water filtrations and many more. POLISHING APPLICATIONS Vertical Plate filters can be used for polishing of liquids before storage or further processing. The large cake volume assures long cycles, against the lowest operational costs. Material of construction: Tanks and all wet table parts are available in several grades of stainless steels. Operating Pressure: Standard tank construction accommodates 4 bar working pressure. Higher pressures are available on request. Allowable pressure difference across the filter plates 3.5 bar. Optional: Optional equipment includes: heating or cooling jackets, segment clamp bolted or hydraulic operated quick opening covers, Pneumatic vibrator, top mounted sprays.

The Octagonal Blender is an efficient and versatile blending machine for mixing and lubrication process of dry granules homogeneously. Two third of the volume of the Cone Blender is filled to ensure proper mixing. The Octagonal Blender gives best result for granules due to very slow speed and octagon shape of container. It can be used for Pharmaceutical, Food, Chemical and Cosmetic products etc.In Octagonal Blender the granules comes from all sides due to the octagonal shape of the product container, hence requirement of RPM is less. Suitable mainly for Crystalline & Granular type material. Construction of S.S. and side plates duly M.S./S.S. stiffened from outside and from inside with S.S. MIXING MECHANISM: Paddle type blades welded to the main shaft provide for efficient mixing of thick heavy material. PTFE gland mechanism provided at shaft ends prevents ingress of external powder into the trough and prevents leakage. CHARGING: From the top charging can be done through a hinge able lid, hopper or Nozzle can be provided for additional spraying of additives. DISCHARGE: By bottom discharge slide Iris or Butterfly valve of suitable diameter, for regulated discharge. DRIVE: Consisting of suitable H.P. TEFC 3 phase ac 415v / 50 cycles motor coupled to suitable worm gear, with driving shafts mounted on suitable Plummer block. MOUNTING: Mounted on suitable ISMC Section Stand, with protective covers for belts and couplings. MOC : All contact parts in S.S. Constructions. This filter is used for solid and liquid separation which is aided with the application of vacuum and cake squeezing by mechanical means. Agitated Nutsche Filter consists of a cylindrical vessel with a welded dished end on the top and a flat bottom or dishend. The process is totally enclosed, hygienic and safe which make it ideal for processing toxic and hazardous material human contact. This equipment can be operated under pressure or in vacuum or in combination of both. Cake discharge is done with the help of stirrer. Provision for spraying wash liquor is in build in the equipment. SPECIAL FEATURES :- It can be used as a drier to further reduce the moisture content. Solvent recovery is possible since process is totally enclosed and closed loop regulation of the speed. A hydraulically operated plug type discharge valve of Special design can be provided operated through the common power pack unit. In the detachable bottom configuration the ANF body is in two sections i.e. the main Top section and the detachable bottom section. The bottom section is provided with legs fitted with castor wheels. Once lowered the bottom section can be wheeled out and one can clean and/ or replace the filter media at ease. A spray Ball arrangement will be provided for uniform distribution of wash liquid for effective cake washing. The same arrangement could also be used during CIP to cover the Shadow areas of the CIP Spray Balls.
