Expansion joints are used for compensation of pipeline movements and vibrations. PTFE Expansion Joints are used in highly conentrated acidlines, as PTFE is chemically inert & flexible. They are designed to withstand 10kg/cm of pressure with moulded steel ring on the each corrugation / arch with steel flanges at both ends.
