Our crockmeter is a sturdy and simple to use instrument with a unique specimen holder that assures correct presentation of sample to the peg. These are used for determining the rubbing color fastness and staining properties of dyed or printed textile samples. The tests related to rubbing fastness tests are conducted into dry conditions, in which the samples are rubbed with wet undyed crocking cloth. Apart from this, the staining of crocking cloth is assessed with a grey scale. Our meter also consists of an A.G. geared motor running at 60 RPM & connected with a counter. To prevent slippage during the test of silky type of fabric samples, the use of emery paper on the platform is most suitable. In this, the sample specimen is fixed on the platform & fastened by the specimen holders. The sample is assessed with the assistance of Grey scale, once the rubbing action to & Ira 10 times gets completed 10 times in a straight line, along a distance of 10 cm, within a time span of 10 seconds. Description :-The air permeability tester is an equipment usually used for quick and accurate determination of air permeability of almost all types of flat materials and foam cubes. In the textile industry, they are widely used to test the air permeability of airbag fabric and significantly open non-woven and forming fabrics. The machine can also be used to test air permeability of dense papers.Salient Features: The instrument is easy and simple to use. It has a small size and is mobile and can easily be used in the production area. It can work both automatically and digitally. Provided with a powerful vacuum pump that fetches air through an interchangeable test head having a circular opening. For the purpose of measurement, the test head is installed on the instrument. The test specimen is placed on the test head opening by compressing the clamping arm, which in turn stars the vacuum pump automatically. The vacuum pump is closed down by compressing the clamping arm second time leading to the release of test specimen. Flow of air through the test sample is calculated via a variable fissure. Air permeability of the specimen under test is obtained from the pressure drop in the fissure and is displayed digitally.
