The Rapid Mixer Granulator which is also known as High Shear Mixer Granulator is a multi-purpose processor equally suitable for high speed dispersion of dry powders, aqueous or solvent granulations, and effervescent products and melts palletisation. In RMG Mixing and wet granulation process is performed in one sequence. The fast moving mixer blades having special angles enforce the powder material into spiral fluidization at the bowl base. The vortex in the material provides faster and uniform distribution of the ingredients.

The multi-bladed impeller is fitted close to the base of the mixing bowl whereas the chopper is mounted on the wall of the mixing bowl. Mixer Granulators are used for premixing of dry powders, wet granulation and for lubrication of tableting formulations. Used mainly in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industry where a process of mixing, coating and granulation is required in a single equipment before tableting of the material. High speed choppers are provided for breaking of lumps and producing granules.

Features Rapid mixer and wet granulator is a very precision machine performing dry mixing and wet granulation in the same bowl only in 6-12 minutes. The entire operation is fully automatic including the discharge. All parts coming in contact with the material to be mixed are made of stainless steel and are highly polished. Drive motors and electric control gear mounted on the machine can be flame proof. In such case separate control pane will be located in a low risk area. The machine is available in 10 different sizes from 10 litres to 1200 litres. Select the size of the machine according to your batch size. For 400 lts capacity model vessel overflow capacity level is 400 lts, working volume is 80% of 400 lts = 320 lts. Assuming the bulk density at 0.5, one can take a batch of 160 kg of wet mass. in a 400 lts capacity model.

Granule size varies as per the perforation of sieves. The simple design of Rotor and Sieve mounting facilitates easy cleaning and quick change over. Externally fitted bearing housings prevent the product coming into contact with bearing lubricants and hence the granules will be completely free of black particles.
