Designed to protect a wide variety of kitchen appliances such as stove tops or deep fryers, the nozzles for fire suppression systems are installed in the kitchen hood exhaust, so that the wet chemicals can be discharged directly over the source of the fire. The system uses a liquid fire extinguishing agent based on salt that specializes in fighting fires involving cooking oil & fat. (Class F) When there is a fire outbreak, either a thermal detector or polymeric detection tube detects this incident. The cylinder valve of the system is then opened by the detection system & the suppression agent is discharged through the piping network to control/douse fire quickly. Seal Tuff is a water based system, with high solids, elastomeric coating utilizing the advanced acrylic technology. Premium quality acrylic resins are combined with reinforcing laminar pigments & incorporating an epoxy additive to increase the abrasion resistance properties of the film. It has Special spherical silica sand suspended in the emulsion to provide a fine uniform texture.  The silica can be eliminated for projects requiring fine smooth surface. Seal Tuff has two variants one is for exposed application & the other one for covered application.

It combines leak resistance, flexibility, durability and temperature sensitivity, allowing it to react quickly when the heat from the fire is present. he tube is connected to a valve fitted on the cylinder filled with fire suppression gas and super pressurized with Nitrogen. Then the tubing is exposed to the heat and radiant energy from the source of fire, the tubing bursts, the cylinder valve is opened, thereby activating the system. The suppression agent flows through the discharge piping and comes out of the nozzles placed strategically. The system can also be designed for an operator to manually activate it.
