A flame arrestor is used to prevent the propogation & transmission of flame generated in the line from an unprotected side to the protected side of a flame arrestor but at the same time to allow the vapours to pass to the protected side. Flame Arrestors are installed on the vents of storage tanks and vessels or in process lines where flammable gases are being transferred. We manufacture our Flame Arrestors according to IS:11006 & International Electro Technical Commission code IEC 60079-1:2007. Prototype tests according to mentioned codes for IIA, IIB & IIC gas groups have been conducted at Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CIMFR), Dhanbad. Our Arrestor Bank which is the heart of the flame arrestor consists of finely crimped metal ribbons to form a corrugated element.
