Started by Mr. Prabhudas Gandhi and later joined by his son Neeraj Gandhi, a qualified BE and MBA, Gandhi & Co. has maintained a steady rise in turnover, profit, number of services and items covered under its purview. The founder Mr. Prabhudas C Gandhi, has been the President of The Lions Club and then of BIMA, Bombay Iron Merchants Association for many years and later held high post in the Federation of Merchants, Mumbai. With BIMA he was responsible for making guidelines with the Government for the market shifting from Mumbai to Navi Mumbai and for constructing their Steel Complex Building at Kalamboli. He is respected even today by one and all. He is honored by Mumbai Mayor for his yeoman services for the Trading community of Mumbai. At the moment he is the managing trustee of Trivenima Charitable Trust at his hometown, Mahuva in Saurashtra and has successfully built an OLD AGE home there for elders of the Society.
