Nyco Grease GN 17 is a soft NLGI 2 grease, based on a synthetic diester oil thickened with a lithium soap. It is fortified with anti-corrosion, antioxidant and anti-wear additives. It also contains 5% of molybdenum disulphide as solid lubricant. Nyco Grease GN 17 can be used from -73°C to +121°C.

On our lubricant test rigs in our own lubricant lab we test the greases for our clients in roller bearings to find out how they improve service life and reduce friction and wear. Further incorporated into the base are two proven friction modifiers: molybdenum disulfide. These friction reducing additives protect the metal surface and provide outstanding resistance to wear. These additives act as "back-stop" lubricants when conditions and loads become severe. Molybdenum disulfide plates to the metal surface to form a long lasting solid lubricant film.
