HYDRAULIC FEATURES The "HAMMER STOP" device has been designed in order to attenuate the "water hammer" phenomenon which is created in a closed conduct when there is a abrupt variation of the fluid speed. The norm UNI 9182 "Installations for the alimentation and distribution of cold and hot water. Criteria regarding design, tests and management" recommends the use of a water hammer damper.
