Horizontal plate filter press he filter from the bottom into the center channel & goes to the top of each plate. The clear filtrate flows out from openings on side of plates to the shell & then to the outlet. This flow ensure almost 100% filtration of the liquid which is not so with the standard flow type.

Sparkler type filter press consists of sturdy 304/316/316L quality Stainless Steel Shell with top cover held in place with tightening bolts, a filter plate assembly consisting of several horizontally arranged disc type filter plates with perforated supporting screens, filter media and interlocking cups. The entire assembly complete with pump and piping connections is mounted on a suitable trolley fitted with castors for easy movement. The typical Sparkler Type filter press are available in standard model design as well as Zero hold up design. Zero hold up ensures that the unfiltered liquid hold up is almost nil. Scavenger plate arrangement is not required in case of Zero hold up design. Applications of Zero Hold Up filter press are in following Industries :- Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, Distilleries, Oil Industry, Dairy Industry, Resins & Paint manufacturing etc. Available standard models are 8",14",18",24" and 33" plate diameter. Filter press is fitted with pressure gauge, safety valve & air vent connections.

Available in a wide range of output capacities, with different number and height of filter plates, as well as a choice of flow pumps, the Filter Presses meet customer’s exact need.

Liquid is pumped through the central channel of the cartridge from the bottom of the body. Suspended particles are retained on the filter media resting on the filter plate. Clean filtrate emerges out from the peripheral holes of the plate, into the tank and comes out from the bottom outlet. Filter tank wall does not come in contact with the un-filtered liquid, hence remains clean.
