The Fuse link body is made of special stealite, which is resistant to alternating temperatures. The indicator on the front plate clearly indicated the switching condition. The indicator operates reliably upto a voltage of 10V. The contact blades are made up of electrolytic copper and are silver plated. The fuse element is directly welded to the blades. The simple rugged design of type SQD fuse links guarantees reliability even in severe ambient conditions.

Base and Carrier are moulded from High Grade Phenolic Moulding Powder. • Base and Carrier mouldings are non-inflammable and non hygroscopic surface. • Phosphos Bronze contact to ensure firm contact with base, contact block made of brass. • Tested as per IS : 13703 ( Part 1 ) : 1993. at RTC ( Regional Testing Centre, Mumbai ) for : High Voltage Test Insulation Resistance Test Temperature Rise Test
