...moremouth ulcer gel
A mouth ulcer occurs on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity. The most common causes of mouth ulcers are stress, overconsumption of acidic foods, or vitamin deficiencies. An oral antiulcerant eases the discomfort caused due to mouth ulcers. ICPA offers three oral anti-ulcerants – Hexigel, Mucopain, and Trioplast. Hexigel contains chlorhexidine gluconate 1% gel which by virtue of its antibacterial action ensures rapid healing of ulcers and is also prescribed in localized gingivitis. Mucopain contains benzocaine 20% which is a local anesthetic. Benzocaine offers instant mucosal pain relief from oral ulcers and oral mucosal injuries. Trioplast contains triamcinolone 0.1% wv topical gel, which is a topical corticosteroid. Trioplast combines the benefits of triamcinolone with superior orabase technology to ensure superior adhesion and relief of anti-inflammatory ulcers.
