Thermowells provide complete protection for the sensor (RTD - Thermocouple or Thermometers). Thermowell is designed considering application requirements. Thermowell allows removing / replacing of sensor without shutting down the process.   This can be made from materials like SS 304, 316, 304L, 316L, 310, 446, Carbon Steel, Hestalloy.C, Monel. This is also be made of ceramic material like recrystalied Alumina for high temperature application . Coating of various grades of Apcolon Fluero plastics like PTFE, TFE, PVDF & PFA can be supplied as per the process requirements. Types of Thermowells: Threaded drilled from bar stock. Drilled Bar Stock with welded flange / Threaded or Flanged Fabricated Thermowells. Thermowells threaded as per API standard or BS pipe threads, flanged as per ANSI, B.S., JIS, DIN standards are available.

The instruments are designed for quick response to any subtle change in temperature and are fitted with bimetallic compensating link to cater for case temperature compensation. These rugged temperature calibrator, essentially comprises of a metal block, electrically heated and precisionely controlled, using microprocessor based PID controller. Optionally An additional digital temperature indicator & sensor duly calibrated & having traceable calibration certificate can also be provided for use as external reference for comparison purpose. Control stability is typically ±1Ë�C and is directly readable from display eliminating any guess work. This is a direct reading level gauging device mounted parallel, along with the side of tank, as the process level fluctuates, the level in glass tube changes accordingly and gives reliable and accurate level measurement with excellent visibility. It consists of borosilicate glass tube (of 16/19/25 mm OD) housed in box type ’C’ channel section to prevent breakage. Scales are provided on the Channel to indicate level. Teflon gaskets provided for superior sealing.     Wide range of material of body/wetted parts available as per the process requirement. Max Op. Pressure vacuum to up to 6 kg/cm2, Centre to centre distances available from 300 MM to up to 3000 mm. Isolation / vent & drain valve can be provided.

RTD'S are high precision device used to measure temperatures in corrosive and non-corrosive media. They work on the principle of variation of resistance of a sensing element, usually made of Platinum, with corresponding change in temperature. These RTD's are available in following types : PT100, PT200, PT500, & PT1000 (AS PER DIN 43760 OR BS904 CLASS II) Pt50 (as per JIS) Simplex or Duplex. THERMOCOUPLE : A thermocouple is a sensor for measuring temperature. It consists of two dissimilar metals, joined together at one end which produce a small unique voltage at a given temperature. This voltage is measured and interpreted by a thermocouple thermometer.   These thermocouples are available in three types of hot junctions : The Grounded Junction : Recommended for the measurement of static or flowing corrosive gas or liquid temperature and for high pressure application. The junctions are welded to the protective sheath giving faster response. An Underground Junction : Used for measurement in corrosive application where it is desirable to have the thermocouple electronically isolated form and shielded by a seath. The junction is physically isolated from the sheath from MgO powder. An Exposed Junction : It is used for the measurement of static or flowing non-corrosive gas temperature where fast response time is required. The junction extends beyond the protective seath to give accurate and fast response. Ensure to hold tube from rotating.

It is an open scale target reading type level gauging device Suitable for all types of non-pressurised tanks like cone roof, flat roof, overhead storage tanks.
