Vacuum Contactor Units from L&T are three-pole contactors with electromagnetic operating mechanism for medium voltage switching applications. Applications such as neutral grounding of Generators, operations of soft starters, Reactor Capacitor switching, motor switching duties need numerous switching operations. Effective & efficient switching in such areas with high operating voltage is achieved with Vacuum Contactor Units. Our VCUs are suitable for system voltage up to 12kV and short circuit capacity up to 50kA, with HRC fuse. L&T VCUs come with latched & non-latched configurations. Design, manufacturing & testing processes of VCUs meet international demands through a compliance of IEC 62271-106.

We offer half panels and sub-cubicles for 11kV. The VCB is ‘draw out’ type and can be racked out directly on the floor. VCBs are type tested according to International Standards IEC-62271 at renowned laboratories. They are compact, safe and reliable. The sub-cubicle is VCB with its compartment having all safety interlocks. The half panel is an assembly of the medium voltage compartments except for low voltage compartment.

The 3 Phase CT Operated Trivector Meter is designed for metering of HTLT consumers and for feeders. Static Transfer Switches (STS) change over from Normal supply to Alternate supply within 15 milliseconds upon failure from Normal supply. In the event of power restoration supply preference is given to the normal supply. Under voltage, over voltage, short circuit and overload protection is provided to STS.

The Radar Antenna Frame is a very critical assembly of the Radar. It is manufactured within stringent dimensional and geometric tolerances as it houses the TR Modules, RF assembly & Antenna electronics.
