There are mainly 3 types, Backward curve, Forward curve and Radial curve. Backward curve blades are usually specified in Supply Centrifugal Fans in Industries for Non-Overloading characteristic. Forward curve Fans are used in Air Handling units for greater air quantity at lesser speed while Radial blades are used in Centrifugal Exhaust Air Fans for high pressure.

Axial Fans comprise of casing, impeller and driving motor. Casing is fabricated from mild steel plates rolled into of 2,5, 3 & 4mm thickness depending upon size with flanges at inlet & outlet duly welded, drilled. Impellers are made from die cast Aluminum alloy / FRP / steel fabricated aerofoil design to give stable performance throughout full range of characteristic curves. Most fans are direct drive on the motor shaft but for special applications. V-belt drive, epoxy coating, FRP lining to resist acidic fumes and flame proof motors is also offered

  Water Cooled Condensor plays an important role in Air - Conditioning & Chiller Unit. Therefore it is Designed and Engineered to suit requirement, Where 24 hour continuous duty is required. It is Economical, Dependable, Efficient and can be attended at site. Condensor is made-up of standard ERW pipe, with integral finned, 16G copper tubes and Cast Iron heads.

The Package Type Airconditioning Unit is designed and engineered to suit requirement where 24 hours continuous duty is required. All components such as the Open - type Compressor, Motors, Shell & Tube Water cooled Condensor or Air Cooled Condensor coil, Cooling coil are mounted on channel and iron frame work which is heavy duty and has rugged construction. The Casing is formed into shape to receive Glass Wool Insulation. It has proven its mettle at Steel Plants, Hotels, Restaurants and Thermal Power Plant.  Condensor  a)  Water Cooled Shell & Tube Condensor (Integral finned, Copper tube expanded joint ends      pressure tested). b) Air Cooled Condensor (Copper tube, Header, Aluminium Fins) coil with Condensor motor      & fan blade.

Fan Construction Fan Construction is as per Indian standards 4894-1987 and AMCA standards for Fan construction to withstand centrifugal force, torque, thrust, vibratory and critical speeds and to provide adequate strength to stationary and rotating parts. Casings Casings are volute design scroll welded on sides, supported on angle frames mounted on channel base frame. Fans are usually horizontal split casing type for removal of rotor wheel facility for servicing and replacement. For normal application casing thickness is 3.15mm whereas 4/6 mm is optional for special cases. Rotors Rotors also called impellers or wheels, they are fixed to HUB which are mounted on EN-8 shaft which is overhung on the extended shaft mounted on two bearings with pedestals. Arrangement -1 fans are generally single width single inlet only. All rotors are of welded construction and are balanced as per ISO-1940 Gr 6.3. Blades Blades are securely welded between extra thick Back Plate and Inlet Cone ring. Bearings Bearings are ball or roller type with grease lubrication equipped with pedestal for servicing. Bearing Temp Limitation Bearing Temp Limitation is 140° C for arrangement -1 and 90° C for arrangement - 3. Special Fans Spark resistant and high temperature construction fans are also available. Fan Accessories Fan Accessories that are available are Variable inlet vane damper, Outlet damper, Cushy foot mountings and Foundation bolts nuts. MESINA Offers 2 types of Air Handling Units, mainly CABINET TYPE and SECTIONAL TYPE. Cabinet type unit houses Fan-Motor drive, Cooling Coil, Filters, Drain pan in one compartment,openable from top and sides for Servicing.The Panels are insulated internally with Foam/ Thermocole insulation. The models are 112, 115, 118 and 212 and capacities from 2500 to 10,000 CFM for static pressure up to 2" wg. In sectionalised type various sections available in horizontal or vertical air discharge.Casing is of heavy 16 gauge CRC steel sheets and angle iron frame work with bolt nut,gaskets for assembling at site as required. There are Fan sectiions,Coil sections, Damper section and Filter sections suitable for fixing Pre-filters and Micro Vee Filter as necessary. The Coil section has drain pan for removing condensate. The models are 118,215,218,315, 318 and 321 having capacity 6 lOOto 30,000CFM to run against pressure of 3 "wg. The casing Panels are externally painted Store Enamelling or Powder Coated type. In these unit motors are mounted externally. Cooling coils are available in rows 4,6, 8 as per load conditions, capacity 5,7.5,10,15,20,3 0,3 5,50 and 60 T.R.
