However it is also used in applications requiring resistance to abrasion, heat, water, and gas permeability. Nitrile is available in a variety of Acrylonitrile contents, and as the Acrylonitrile content increases so does the range of its possible uses. Heat range 100°C Continuous, 130°C Intermittent. Low temp resistance of -20°C. Not recommended for use in applications where resistance to oxygenated solvents like acetone and ketone is required.
