The permanent magnetic suspension magnets are suspended over conveyor line and are used to remove iron impurities mixed with product moving on conveyor belt. It can also be used for any other material feeding system to avoid damage to the crushers, grinders and other material handling equipments. These magnets can be made in self-cleaning design if required (Over band Magnetic Separator). Over band Magnetic Separator are self-cleaning units where the iron pieces attracted are thrown off and collected separately automatically with the help of cross belt. Application : Suspension magnets and Over band Magnetic Separator find wide applications in mining, coalpower generation plant and also in chemical foodplastic ceramics industries.

Magnetic Separators and Suspension Magnets have become indispensable for decades. Suspension Magnets are used when only small contamination levels are encountered. The material accumulated on the pole face must be removed at regular intervals. When stopping the plant and in case of power failure, the iron drops back into the material to be conveyed.Overband Magnetic Separators are used when substantial quantities of magnetic material and or long bulky pieces are contained in the conveyor burden. This material is attracted by the magnet and is transported out of the magnetic field and ejected by the discharge belt running around the magnet.
