We find there is no standard practice of employing the Digital Micro Ohm Meter by the service centers in Australia nor in US, UK and elsewhere which would have ensured easy monitoring of per phase resistances of electric motors which are the main causes of over-heating and subsequent burning; a nationalinternational waste of time, effort and material. The meter will help you check each and every coil(ensuring they have the same ohmic values) before inserting in the coils. This sound method will invariably result in balanced currents and balanced resistances in all the 3 phases. The method of testing after final assembly adopted by your service centers may at times result in imbalance resistances. But the sad part is they cannot undo it because the assembly (wound stator or rotor) is already impregnated. They have to send the imbalanced motor anyway to the user thereby short-changing our customers. All these can be avoided by employing our meter.
