The machine is a split frame ring, also called as clamshell design. This enables it to be mounted at any point along the axis of the pipe. It can be mounted on pipes with a horizontal, vertical or inclined axis. It uses a standard single point tool for the cutting and Beveling. The tool can be tilted to any angle to produce the required bevelled edge angle. The machine is also capable of spot facing and edge preparations of the pipes for welding or joining of pipes.
