A bond breaking tape needs to be used to ensure that the sealant does not contact the bottom of the joint. The joint width to depth ratio may be maintained at 1:1 up to 15 mm width and thereafter joint width to depth ratio could be 2:1. Clean the equipment and tools immediately after use when the sealant is still wet with ethyl acetate or a suitable solvent.Upon drying it can only be cleaned by mechanical means.
